Charles Vogl welcomes Amit Garg who shares his experience making big and international achievements by connecting small groups of people. He also shares his own lessons about the meaning of making a change.

Amit Garg has been working in Technology for 20 years in Silicon Valley. He co-founded Tau Ventures, a venture capital firm focusing on early stage Artificial Intelligence in Digital Health, Automation and business-to-business applications. He also cofounded the nonprofit Hospital for Hope which has built a high school lab, a library and a hospital in rural Jharkhand India. It is a place with among the lowest per capita incomes in India.

Amit Garg was born and raised in Brazil, speaks 5 languages.  He has been working in Technology for 20 years in Silicon Valley. He co-founded Tau Ventures,  a venture capital firm focusing on early stage Artificial Intelligence in Digital Health, Automation and business-to-business applications.  Earlier he worked at Google focusing on the images and photos products, and advertising strategy.  He also co-founded Health IQ, a company that helps people make better choices for health and fitness. It is now valued at over $400M.

He also co-founded the nonprofit Hospital for Hope in 2000. The organization has built a high school lab, a library and a hospital in rural India serving a community of 100,000 in Jharkhand. The location has among the lowest per capita incomes in India.

Amit has two science degrees from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard. He was also named a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum in Davos.
